About Us
Katie and family moved into the new Weary Stone Gardens property in summer 2022, after husband and partner Brent’s sudden passing. Their shared dream of building a beautiful, edible, backyard oasis aligned with the local landscape is expanding and evolving on the new property, inspired by Brent’s memory and aligned with the calling of uncertain times. Through the births of their children, day jobs and the various responsibilites of daily life, the dream continues to take shape.
We acknowledge that we live, work, and raise our families on unceded territory of the Coast Salish people, who are still here and still seeking justice, including the Duwamish, Suquamish, Tulalip, and Muckleshoot nations.
